OUR PROJECTS

We are just as happy to supply a single piece of worktop as we are to supply several hundred vanity tops for a hotel refurbishment. Our main focus has been to supply stunning, bespoke worktops for kitchens , we’re proud to be associated with many of the elite kitchen studios around Scotland.

Our reputation in the commercial market grows year on year and we can now boast about being a UK wide supplier having supplied bar tops, vanity tops, reception desks, dining tables, threshold strips etc. etc. to projects all-round the country.

Machinery and specialist equipment.

Our factory space is compact but ideally set-up for easy transfer from one process to the next. Our production process usually begins in our customers premises where we will use a Proliner digital measuring system to accurately determine the dimensions and orientation of the required surfaces. This digital plan is then transferred to computers where the requirements are modified to include sinks, hobs, joints etc.  The CNC saws are next in the production order where sheets of material are accurately cut to size before being moved onto the CNC Workcentre’s which cut-out the sinks, hobs and special shapes. The last process is edge polishing and hand finishing before a final quality check prior to loading into our fitter’s vans.

Granite Systems Limited was created 20 years ago as an offshoot of the family firm of J. G. Brown and Son, Monumental Sculptors. Since inception, Granite Systems has steadily grown, driven by quality and service, to become Scotland’s undisputed leader in the industry. From humble beginnings we have continually re-invested to embrace computerised manufacturing complimented by hand finished quality.

Driven by design and consumer demand, most of our worktops are made from Silestone, a manufactured, quartz, based material, from The Cosentino Company in Spain. We also supply natural materials such as Corian, Granite, Marble, Limestone and Slate purchased mainly through UK stockholders but sourced from every corner of the world. The granite systems factory & manufacture.

We are constantly upgrading our production facility and now use the latest in computerised technology to template and manufacture.

Our digital templating system provides very accurate details of the worktops to be manufactured with little disturbance and without the mess associated with templating by board. The digitised measurements are then fed to our computerised machinery producing accurate, quality worktops. All products are hand finished by skilled operatives to produce the quality expected in this market.

We recently extended our workshop, greatly increasing our capacity by streamlining our production flow.

Granite Systems Ltd has been manufacturing sheet stone products, including kitchen worktops, for over 10 years, although the company has been involved in the granite industry for almost 60 years.

We pride ourselves in providing a quality service and a quality product. We will template deliver and install our finished product, almost anywhere, using our own specialist employees, seeing a project through from beginning to end with the minimum of hassle.We will manufacture anything in sheet stone (granite, marble, limestone and engineered stone) but specialise in Kitchen worktops, Bartops, bathroom vanities and bathroom cladding including shower enclosures.
